Bandhan Bank has announced a significant expansion of its branch network with the inauguration of 18 new branches across four states, including three in Odisha. This move marks another major stride in the Bank’s ongoing mission to enhance financial accessibility and deepen its reach in underserved and semi-urban regions of India.

The three new branches in Odisha have been strategically set up in Kandhamal (Baliguda), Bargarh (Barapali), and Balangir (Kantabanji), bringing the Bank’s total branch count in the state to 259.

With this expansion, Bandhan Bank aims to better serve the banking needs of communities in these semi-urban belts, offering a full range of financial services designed to empower individuals and support local economic growth.

Alongside the expansion in Odisha, the Bank has also opened seven new branches in Jharkhand, five in Andhra Pradesh, and three in Bihar. The inauguration of these branches was led by Partha Pratim Sengupta, Managing Director & CEO of Bandhan Bank, in the presence of Rajinder Kumar Babbar, Executive Director & Chief Banking Officer, Ratan Kumar Kesh, Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer, and other senior officials.

Speaking on the occasion, Sengupta said, “We are committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience by adapting our products and services to meet evolving needs. In line with this, we’re excited to announce the opening of 18 new branches across four states including the three new branches in Odisha, strengthening our network to serve customers more efficiently. As we expand nationwide, we remain focused on sustainable growth and providing innovative, flexible solutions that meet changing expectations.”

The launch of these branches aligns with Bandhan Bank’s strategic roadmap for diversification and nationwide presence. With over 6,300 banking outlets now operational across India, and a footprint in 35 out of the 36 states and union territories, the Bank continues to grow its presence while staying true to its core objective — delivering inclusive and customer-centric banking solutions across the country.
