Founded in 1910 by Sushil Chandra Roy as a tribute to enduring friendship, Mitra Cafe has been an enduring symbol of Kolkata’s celebrated ‘cabin culture’. Now under the stewardship of his son, Tapash Roy, Director of Mitra Cafe, the brand has evolved into a household name, known for its iconic Bengali, Indian, Chinese, and Tandoori cuisine.
