The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), a premier institution fostering entrepreneurship education and innovation, has announced the commencement of admissions for its two flagship postgraduate programmes for the academic year 2025–27: the Post Graduate Diploma in Management–Entrepreneurship (PGDM–E) and the Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development (PGDM–IEV).
Both programmes are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and are crafted to transform students into future-ready entrepreneurs, innovators, and business leaders. EDII’s outcome-oriented pedagogy has consistently delivered results, with 78% of its alumni venturing into entrepreneurial careers. Among them, 54% have successfully joined or scaled their family businesses, 23% have launched independent ventures, and 1% have established impactful social enterprises.
The PGDM–E programme offers a milestone-based learning approach that allows students to customise their entrepreneurial journey under the mentorship of successful entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts. With specialisations in New Enterprise Creation, Family Business Management, and Social Entrepreneurship, the course is ideal for individuals looking to launch startups, grow family businesses, or lead social change.
The PGDM–IEV programme, on the other hand, is tailored for tech-savvy innovators with ambitions to convert disruptive ideas into scalable enterprises. Students benefit from an immersive learning experience through EDII’s in-house Technology Business Incubator, the Centre for Advancing and Launching Enterprises (CrAdLE). The programme is integrated with national innovation support frameworks such as the Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP), Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS), MSME Innovative Scheme, and the Ambedkar Social Innovation and Incubation Mission (ASIIM), helping students prepare for real-world entrepreneurial challenges and investor engagement.

Eligibility for admission includes a graduate degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks and a valid score in any national-level management entrance test such as CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, or CMAT. Final-year students awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
