The members of the G-20 Culture Working Group on Wednesday visited the Gandhi Peace Centre (GPC) in the Capital City of Odisha.
The team led by Union Minister of State for Culture Meenakshi Lekhi went round the Centre and highly appreciated Aditya Birla Group for maintaining and showcasing it in such a beautiful way.
The Gandhi Peace Centre, built on a five-acre of land near the Khandagiri-Udaygiri caves in Bhubaneswar, is a digital interactive museum promoting Gandhian values and principles among the people, particularly youths.
The centre, set up with the support of the Aditya Birla Group, has six galleries, where memorabilia and articles used by Gandhiji are on display.
Among others, Aditya Birla Group Presidents Nitin Mathuria and Ardhendu Mohapatra, and other dignitaries from the government and the company were present on the occasion.
