Sonalika Tractors, India’s leading tractor export brand, has begun FY’26 on a high note, achieving its highest-ever Q1 overall sales of 43,603 tractors during April–June 2025. Renowned for its robust, farmer-centric innovations, the company continues to set new benchmarks in the agri-machinery sector, driven by its promise of ‘Dum Aage Badhne Ka’ and cutting-edge engineering across the 20–120 HP range.

The robust performance reflects strong rural sentiment supported by a favourable monsoon, which has significantly accelerated Kharif sowing activities compared to the previous year. Sonalika’s product strategy is deeply rooted in understanding regional farming needs — offering customised solutions based on crop patterns and soil types to boost farm productivity.

The company’s manufacturing strength is anchored by its world-class, fully integrated tractor plant in Hoshiarpur, Punjab — ranked as the world’s No. 1 in terms of integration. With the capacity to roll out one tractor every two minutes, the plant harnesses advanced robotic and automation technologies to ensure consistent quality and performance.

Sonalika’s team of over 400 highly skilled engineers plays a pivotal role in translating real-time farmer feedback into next-generation, heavy-duty tractor solutions. These innovations are designed not just to enhance efficiency but also to ensure long-term prosperity for farmers.

Commenting on the milestone, Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director, International Tractors Limited, said: “Our vision has always been to empower farmers through meaningful innovation, and our record-breaking Q1 sales of 43,603 tractors — including our best-ever June performance — reflect this commitment. With the monsoon bringing early optimism and promising Kharif sowing trends, we foresee improved farm incomes ahead. Guided by our core values and a growth-oriented mindset, we remain dedicated to our ‘farmer-first’ philosophy and will continue delivering impactful solutions that transform farming livelihoods.”
