Jindal Steel & Power Limited has officially rebranded itself as Jindal Steel Limited, with effect from July 22, 2025. The change follows formal approval from the Registrar of Companies under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.

The new name marks a strategic shift that aligns with the company’s sharpened focus on its core strength — steel manufacturing. This rebranding reflects the company’s commitment to evolving as a future-ready, steel-centric enterprise, while maintaining the values and legacy it has built over decades.

The name change has been carried out in accordance with Rule 29 of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014. A revised Certificate of Incorporation has been issued by the Registrar of Companies and is enclosed with the official announcement.

Importantly, there are no changes to the company’s Corporate Identification Number (CIN: L27105HR1979PLC009913) or its registered office address, which remains: Jindal Steel Limited, O.P. Jindal Marg, Hisar – 125005, Haryana, India.

The company will continue to operate as a public limited company limited by shares under its new name. All existing legal rights, obligations, responsibilities, and contractual commitments remain intact and unaffected by the change.

Jindal Steel has completed the required filings with stock exchanges and other relevant statutory authorities. The company requests all stakeholders, partners, and members of the public to update their records accordingly and take note of the new name.
