Casio deepens India commitment with launch of locally manufactured watches

Casio India, a subsidiary of Japan’s Casio Computer Co. Ltd., has announced the sale of its first locally manufactured watch models, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s India journey. The move reflects Casio’s strategic vision to expand its local footprint, strengthen product availability, and align with India’s national manufacturing goals while staying closely attuned to evolving consumer preferences.

Since its entry into the Indian market in 1996, Casio has built a strong reputation for innovation, quality, and style. The ‘Make in India’ decision represents a pivotal step in enabling the brand to respond faster to the country’s dynamic fashion and functional demands. As part of this initiative, Casio is producing 28 specially curated watch models in India, seamlessly blending globally trusted Japanese technology with the strengths of India’s manufacturing ecosystem.
