Fitness meets fun as NTPC Uttara Club hosts Badminton and Carrom competitions

The Uttara Club of NTPC Northern Region Headquarters (NRHQ), Lucknow, infused sporting zeal among its members by organizing Badminton and Carrom competitions. The three-day event aimed to promote physical fitness, nurture sportsmanship, and provide a platform for recreation.

The Badminton tournament took place at the HAL Lucknow campus, while the Carrom competition was hosted at the NRHQ campus. Both events witnessed spirited participation and fostered a strong sense of camaraderie among members.

The competitions concluded with a lively prize distribution ceremony, where Smt. Sangeeta Singha Ray, Vice President of Uttra Club, along with the executive members, felicitated the winners and runners-up. In Badminton, Anjali Gupta emerged as the winner, while Sabita finished as the runner-up. In Carrom, the top spot was secured by Aarti Nigam, with Sumita Chatterjee as the runner-up.

Blending fitness with fun, the competitions left behind cherished memories, reinforcing the spirit of unity and enthusiasm within the NTPC family.
