Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Company (AMC) has announced that its flagship equity scheme, the Bajaj Finserv Flexi Cap Fund, has crossed an assets under management (AUM) milestone of ₹5,410.04 crore as of August 31, 2025, within just two years of its launch. The fund, which was introduced in August 2023, has delivered a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.19% under its regular plan and 20.91% under its direct plan since inception.
Anchored on a strategy of investing in megatrends, the fund focuses on capturing long-term structural shifts across technology, regulatory frameworks, demographics, environment, and societal transformation. This thematic approach has led to a diversified portfolio of 81 stocks across large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap segments, with major allocations in banking and financial services, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, industrial products, consumer durables, IT software, retail, real estate, and beverages.
Investor participation in the scheme has also been robust, with 2,52,388 folios recorded as of August 2025, underscoring growing confidence in the fund’s unique positioning. Benchmarked against the BSE 500 TRI, the scheme has emerged as one of the fastest-growing offerings in Bajaj Finserv AMC’s portfolio.
Commenting on the achievement, Ganesh Mohan, Managing Director, Bajaj Finserv AMC, said, “The Flexi Cap Fund was our flagship equity fund that we launched with a differentiated megatrend theme. At its two-year anniversary, I am delighted to see the way the fund has grown and performed. The growth reflects the trust our investors and distributors have placed in us, and the performance highlights our differentiated investment philosophy and disciplined processes. Looking ahead, we remain committed to creating sustainable long-term wealth for Indians through true-to-label funds backed by an agile and process-oriented investment approach.”
Sharing insights on the fund’s performance, Nimesh Chandan, Chief Investment Officer, Bajaj Finserv AMC, said, “Bajaj Finserv Flexi Cap Fund is a true-to-label product that invests in businesses benefiting from long-term megatrends. Our in-house INQUBE philosophy—combining information edge, quantitative edge, and behavioural edge—supports efficient stock selection and allocation. Rather than following market trends, our focus is on anticipating the flow and aligning with future profit pools. This results in high active share and the ability to capture opportunities arising from structural shifts in the economy, thereby creating sustainable value for investors.”
Since its debut in 2023, Bajaj Finserv AMC has expanded its portfolio significantly, now managing 17 active schemes — comprising eight equity, five debt, and four hybrid funds — alongside five passive schemes, further cementing its presence in the Indian mutual fund industry.
