Jindal Stainless, India’s largest stainless-steel manufacturer, has released its maiden Integrated Report for FY25, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability, transparency, and long-term value creation for all stakeholders.
Developed in line with the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) framework and harmonized with global sustainability standards, the report — titled “Forged in India, Built for the World” — captures the company’s vision of blending bold business growth with responsible manufacturing, as it charts its journey toward global leadership in stainless solutions.
Kalyan Kumar Bhattacherjee, Chief Sustainability Officer at Jindal Stainless, said, “At Jindal Stainless, ESG principles are deeply woven into every layer of our operations. We believe that true value creation lies in harmonizing business performance with environmental stewardship and social responsibility. This Integrated Report is not just a disclosure, but a testament to our resilience, inclusivity, and commitment to shaping a sustainable future.”
The report highlights a transformative FY25 for the company, marked by the completion of a Double Materiality Assessment, the commissioning of Odisha’s largest captive solar plant, and the announcement of ambitious ESG targets under its four-pillar framework: responsible governance, planet positive initiatives, sustainable supply chain, and community empowerment.
It also outlines the company’s decarbonization roadmap, including a 50% reduction in CO2 e-emissions by 2035 and a Net Zero target by 2050, alongside extensive community development efforts near its plants in Hisar, Haryana, and Jajpur, Odisha.
In a distinctive cultural tribute, the design of the report features Odisha’s traditional Saura art, symbolizing Jindal Stainless’ deep-rooted ties with local communities and its vision of delivering globally relevant solutions inspired by Indian values.
