PNB observes Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, reinforcing integrity and transparency

Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of India’s leading public sector banks, inaugurated the Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 at its Corporate Office in Dwarka, New Delhi, under the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.” The observance began with MD & CEO Ashok Chandra and Chief Vigilance Officer Raghvendra Kumar administering the Integrity Pledge to staff members, reaffirming the institution’s deep-rooted commitment to transparency, accountability, and ethical governance.

Addressing the gathering, Ashok Chandra emphasized the collective role of employees in fostering a culture of vigilance and ethical conduct across all levels of the organization. Raghvendra Kumar highlighted the importance of proactive vigilance measures in strengthening institutional integrity. The event was also addressed by the Executive Directors, B.P. Mahapatra and D. Surendran, who underscored the significance of aligning business excellence with ethical practices.

PNB is observing Vigilance Awareness Week from October 27 to November 2, 2025, in accordance with the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission, with a series of activities aimed at promoting awareness, integrity, and transparency among employees and stakeholders.
