A one-day “Rashtriya Karmayogi – Jan Seva” training programme, held under the Government of India’s flagship initiative *Mission Karmayogi*, was organised at NTPC Northern Region Headquarters, Lucknow, on October 27, 2025.
The programme was conducted under the leadership of Goutam Deb, RED (North), and the guidance of Samiran Sinha Ray, RHOHR, NRHQ. The initiative aimed to promote a culture of service-oriented governance among employees by fostering a sense of Seva Bhav (spirit of service), enhancing responsiveness, encouraging collaboration, and strengthening citizen-centric service delivery through continuous learning and competency-based digital training.
Prior to the commencement of the workshop, participants downloaded and installed the iGOT Karmayogi App on their mobile devices to complete essential learning modules, aligning themselves with the national framework of capacity building. Two master trainers from NTPC Unchahar facilitated the session, ensuring an enriching and effective learning experience for all.
A total of 31 participants successfully completed the training, benefiting from interactive sessions designed to inspire innovation and accountability in public service. The workshop was graced by the presence of S. K. Dubey, GM (OS), who appreciated the initiative and encouraged participants to internalize the values of Mission Karmayogi in their professional conduct.
The session concluded with renewed enthusiasm among employees to uphold the ideals of citizen-centric governance, continuous learning, and ethical service delivery — echoing the transformative spirit of Mission Karmayogi across NTPC’s Northern Region.
