NTPC Bongaigaon observed Quality Month with a series of activities aimed at reinforcing a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across the station. Quality Pledge ceremonies were held simultaneously at the New Administrative Building and the New Service Building, reaffirming the organisation’s focus on high standards in every sphere of operation.
At the Administrative Building, Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, led the pledge along with employees. He underscored the importance of integrating quality into all aspects of work — from operational performance to service delivery and stakeholder engagement. He noted that quality is not a one-time activity but a sustained discipline that drives long-term success and builds trust.
At the plant, Anurag Gupta, GM (O&M), administered the pledge in the presence of Ahmed Mustafa Choudhury, AGM (C&I), addressing departmental representatives. He highlighted the need for stringent quality checks, strict adherence to standards, and shared responsibility to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable power generation.
As part of Quality Month, NTPC Bongaigaon has lined up various activities and competitions designed to engage employees, encourage innovation, and promote systemic improvements across functions.
The observance underscores NTPC Bongaigaon’s unwavering commitment to maintaining high operational standards and strengthening its journey towards excellence.
