Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club extends winter support to students of Bhumki LP School

As part of NTPC Bongaigaon’s ongoing welfare initiatives, the Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club distributed warm sweaters and school shoes to 88 students of Bhumki LP School in Kokrajhar, bringing comfort and joy to the children as the winter season sets in.

The distribution programme was led by Kasturi Maitra, President of the Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club, who was accompanied by club members, officials from the HR Department, and the CSR Wing of NTPC Bongaigaon.

Addressing the gathering, Maitra reiterated the club’s commitment to supporting children’s well-being and ensuring access to basic necessities that enable them to pursue their education with dignity and confidence. She encouraged the students to stay focused on their studies and assured that NTPC Bongaigaon would continue to extend meaningful support to the community.

Teachers of the school expressed heartfelt gratitude for the initiative, noting that such contributions significantly uplift the learning environment for young children in rural areas.
