TPCODL receives Premium Gold at Kalinga Safety Excellence National Awards

Paradeep Electrical Circle wins Gold in Large Scale Industry Category

TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, has been awarded the prestigious Premium Gold in the Kalinga Safety Excellence National Awards at the National Safety Conclave 2025. The event took place on 22 November at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi.

The Kalinga Safety Excellence Awards, established by the Institute of Quality and Environment Management Services (IQEMS), are among the most respected accolades in India’s Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (OSH/SHE) sector. For the 2024 assessment year, organizations were thoroughly evaluated across a range of critical parameters, including safety systems, awareness programs, and the overall safety culture.

TPCODL’s Premium Gold award reflects its unwavering commitment to proactive safety leadership and a continuous drive for improvement throughout its operations. The award was accepted by Dushyant Kumar Tyagi, COO of TPCODL, and presented by distinguished dignitaries such as Dr. Rajbir Singh, Minister for Labour & Employment, Uttar Pradesh; Dr. Rabi Narayan Behera, MP, Jajpur; Priyadarshi Mishra, senior BJP Leader; and Brigadier Alok Jain, among others.

Adding to this remarkable achievement, TPCODL’s Paradeep Electrical Circle also received the Kalinga Safety Excellence National Award in the Large Scale Industry (Gold Category), which was presented at the conclave in Bhubaneswar by Smt. Surama Padhy, the Hon’ble Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly.
