Aditya Aluminium marks International Day for Persons with Disabilities, lays foundation for Rengali resource centre

Aditya Aluminium, Lapanga, in collaboration with the BEO Office, Rengali, observed the International Day for Persons with Disabilities at the Block Resource Centre for Children with Special Needs on Wednesday. The occasion also featured the ceremonial foundation-laying for the renovation of the centre, a visionary initiative aimed at enhancing support services and creating an inclusive, stimulating learning environment for specially-abled children across the region.

The program was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Satapashree Mohapatra, BEO Rengali; Mahendra Bagh and Sukhlal Singh, ABEOs; Satyanarayan Agarwal, Block Chairman; along with senior officials from Aditya Aluminium, including Vinoda Nand Thakur, HR Head, Gulshan Tiwari, CPP Plant Head, Rajat Majumder, Finance Head, and Ravi Niwas, CSR Head.

The celebrations began with a lively and colourful rally featuring over 100 children, parents, teachers, and officers from Aditya Aluminium, followed by fun-filled games, soulful songs, energetic dance performances, and distribution of assistive equipment. The event beautifully showcased the talent, courage, and vibrant spirit of children with special needs, leaving the community inspired and filled with joy. Their smiles and enthusiasm made the occasion truly heartwarming, memorable, and a celebration of inclusivity.
