Jindal Steel shooters rule the range, claim national glory at 68th Shotgun Championships

Jindal Steel-backed athletes delivered a commanding performance at the 68th National Shooting Shotgun Championship (NSSC), sweeping podiums and clinching top honours at the iconic Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi. The stellar showing underscored Jindal Steel’s steadfast commitment to nurturing world-class sporting talent in India.

        Gurjoat Singh

Leading the charge was Gurjoat Singh Khangura, who stamped his authority on the Men’s Skeet event to be crowned 2025 National Champion. Finishing Rank 1, Khangura showcased nerves of steel in a high-pressure final, outclassing a formidable line-up that included seasoned Olympians and established internationals.

          Raiza Dhillon

Equally impressive was rising star Raiza Dhillon, who emerged as the standout performer in the women’s category. Demonstrating exceptional precision and maturity beyond her years, Dhillon clinched gold in both the Women’s Skeet and Junior Women’s Skeet events. Her double triumph marked a significant milestone and reaffirmed her status as one of India’s most promising young shooting talents.

     Mairaj Ahmad Khan

Adding to the medal haul, Olympian Mairaj Ahmad Khan delivered a display of consistency and class, securing two silver medals at the championships. His performances once again highlighted the experience and discipline of a veteran athlete, continuing to inspire the next generation of Indian shooters.
