Aditya Aluminium marks National Nutrition Week 2025 with community awareness drives

Aditya Aluminium Lapanga, a unit of Hindalco Industries Limited, observed National Nutrition Week 2025 by organizing a series of impactful awareness programs across RR Colony Pondloi, RR Colony Ludhapali, Bomaloi, Golamal, and Bhoipali. The initiative, driven by the company’s CSR team under the theme “Eat Right for a Better Life,” sought to enhance nutritional awareness among women and adolescents in the region.

The programs were attended by Dr. Arka Chatterjee from Aditya Health Centre, CSR Head Ravi Niwash, Anganwadi Workers, ASHA workers, and members of the CSR team. Dr. Chatterjee led insightful discussions highlighting the significance of nutrition for mothers, children, and adolescents, the diverse sources and types of nutrition, the essential dietary needs of a healthy baby, and the vital role of breastfeeding in early childhood development.

The campaign received enthusiastic participation from nearly 200 pregnant women, lactating mothers, and adolescent girls, who engaged actively in interactive learning sessions, a quiz competition, and a healthy baby show. The winners were felicitated during a cheerful prize distribution ceremony, which further encouraged the community to embrace healthier lifestyle choices.

The week-long initiative concluded on an encouraging note, reiterating the message that adopting healthy food habits today is key to building a healthier tomorrow. Through this effort, Aditya Aluminium once again reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening community health and well-being through sustained awareness, education, and empowerment.
