Axis Bank, one of India’s largest private sector lenders, has rolled out Sparsh Week 2025, a landmark initiative designed to bring its 1 lakh-strong workforce closer to customers across its vast network of 5,868 branches. Scheduled from September 1 to 5, this third edition of the Bank’s flagship engagement programme is themed “Raise the Bar” and aims to redefine customer experience, strengthen employee engagement, and enhance leadership visibility nationwide.

Anchored in the core mantras of “Own the Brand, Own the Customer, Act with Speed, and Zero Pendency,” Sparsh Week has grown into one of Axis Bank’s most defining cultural platforms. Over 40 senior leaders, including Amitabh Chaudhry, MD & CEO, Munish Sharda, Subrat Mohanty, and Neeraj Gambhir, will travel to 40 cities to meet customers, mentor frontline staff, and lead high-impact sessions. “With Sparsh at the heart of our efforts, we remain deeply focused on customer obsession, committing to delight our customers every single day,” said Chaudhry. “This is not just a weeklong celebration but a reminder of the culture we are shaping, where every interaction is an opportunity to create value and deliver a truly distinctive experience.”

Sparsh Week 2025 will witness a host of curated experiences and special offers across home loans, gold loans, current accounts, demat accounts, forex, lockers, family banking, and health insurance. Initiatives such as “Let’s Listen” sessions across 5,800 branches, auto test drives, wholesale banking client felicitation, and the outreach programme “Samaroh” will further deepen customer connect.

The Bank has also designed thematic days for diverse customer segments. Students will be introduced to banking through “Piggy to Prodigy Day,” while women will benefit from financial awareness initiatives under the ARISE programme and Nari Shakti Diwas. Senior citizens will attend digital literacy and fraud-prevention sessions, startups and MSMEs will engage in networking and loan facilitation platforms, and agri-entrepreneurs will be supported through Krishi Diwas and village-level outreach. Special initiatives will also be held for NRIs and the LGBTQ+ community, reinforcing inclusivity as a cornerstone of the Bank’s engagement.

This year’s edition represents a major leap in scale, with Axis Bank targeting interactions with over 1.5 lakh customers, nearly three times the 55,000 engaged during Sparsh Week 2024. By combining leadership presence, frontline empowerment, and customer-centric initiatives, Axis Bank is positioning Sparsh as a transformative force in banking engagement, reaffirming its ambition to become the most trusted financial partner in every customer’s journey.
