Centurion University and LTTS join hands to launch AI and center of excellence, pioneering next-gen tech education

Centurion University has entered into a landmark partnership with L&T Technology Services Ltd. (LTTS) to establish a state-of-the-art Center of Excellence (CoE) dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies. The initiative aims to redefine technology education and innovation, with a sharp focus on advanced domains such as Quantum Computing, Blockchain, and future-ready digital solutions.

The MoU was formally signed by Ashish Khushu, Chief Technology Officer, L&T Technology Services Ltd., and Prof. (Dr.) Supriya Pattnaik, Vice-Chancellor of Centurion University, in the presence of senior leaders from both institutions. The signatories were joined by Jagyan Prakash, Business Head – Embedded Engineering and IVV, L&T Technology Services Ltd.; Prof. (Dr.) Ajaya Kumar Nayak, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Administration); Prof. (Dr.) Biswajit Mishra, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academics); Dr. (Hon.) Paneesh Rao, Advisor; and Dr. Sujata Chakravarty, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, Centurion University.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ashish Khushu underlined the transformative impact of the collaboration, saying, “This partnership will create unparalleled opportunities for students and faculty to engage in real-world projects, research, and innovation, bridging the gap between academia and industry while equipping young professionals with future-ready skills.”

The CoE will be housed at Centurion University and designed as a hub for high-impact research, curriculum innovation, and experiential learning. It will offer student internships, faculty development programs, and industry-oriented training modules, fostering an ecosystem that nurtures the next generation of technology leaders.

Prof. (Dr.) Supriya Pattnaik described the collaboration as a pivotal step towards shaping a new era of education and industry alignment. “Through this partnership, we reaffirm our commitment to transforming lives by advancing innovation, building future-ready skills, and enabling impactful research,” she said.
