Jindal Asha, the flagship initiative of the Jindal Foundation committed to providing specialised care, therapy, and education for Divyang children, marked the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2025 with a heart-warming and inspiring celebration at Jindal Township today.
The event turned into a lively showcase of talent and inclusivity as children of Jindal Asha took centre stage with an array of cultural performances. From graceful folk and tribal dances to captivating traditional sequences, a delightful fancy dress show, and a compelling social-awareness drama, the young performers delivered a powerful message on empathy, equality, and the importance of embracing persons with disabilities.
One of the standout features of the observance was a vibrant awareness rally across the Jindal Township. The rally aimed at sensitising the community about disability rights while promoting a culture of acceptance and inclusion.
In line with government-supported facilitation efforts, eligible beneficiaries received their Disability Certificates and VATA Certificates during the programme. The occasion also saw the distribution of prizes from the Jindal Asha 4th Annual Sports Meet 2025, recognising the spirit and achievements of participating children.
With the warm participation of around 80 children and their parents, the celebration radiated joy, unity, and togetherness — a fitting tribute to a day dedicated to uplifting and empowering individuals with disabilities.
The observance not only celebrated abilities but also strengthened the collective commitment of the community to foster an inclusive and compassionate environment for all.
