Reliance Jio has kicked off 2026 with an aggressive expansion of its tariff portfolio, unveiling a new set of “Happy New Year 2026” plans that combine long-term connectivity, rich entertainment bundles and premium artificial intelligence services. The move underscores Jio’s strategy to deepen customer engagement by blending telecom services with digital ecosystems at competitive price points.
At the center of the announcement is the Hero Annual Recharge priced at Rs 3,599, designed for heavy data users seeking long-term value. The plan offers unlimited 5G access with 2.5 GB of high-speed data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day, all valid for a full 365 days. Sweetening the proposition, Jio is bundling a complimentary 18-month Pro Plan of Google Gemini, a premium AI subscription valued at Rs 35,100, positioning the plan as a blend of connectivity and cutting-edge productivity tools.
For customers preferring shorter commitments, Jio has introduced the Super Celebration Monthly Plan at Rs 500. Valid for 28 days, the plan delivers unlimited 5G with 2 GB of daily data, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. What sets it apart is an extensive OTT bundle worth Rs 500 per month, featuring platforms such as YouTube Premium, JioHotstar, Amazon Prime Video, Sony LIV, ZEE5, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, Sun NXT, Kancha Lannka, Planet Marathi, Chaupal, FanCode and Hoichoi. Like the annual plan, subscribers also receive the 18-month Google Gemini Pro Plan at no additional cost.
Adding flexibility for value-conscious users, Jio has also rolled out the Flexi Pack priced at Rs 103. This 28-day pack includes 5 GB of data and allows customers to choose one entertainment bundle tailored to their preferences. Options include a Hindi pack with JioHotstar, ZEE5 and Sony LIV, an international pack featuring JioHotstar, FanCode, Lionsgate and Discovery+, or a regional pack combining JioHotstar with Sun NXT, Kancha Lanka and Hoichoi.
With these New Year offerings, Jio is reinforcing its leadership in the Indian telecom market by integrating affordable 5G access, premium content and advanced AI services into a single value-driven proposition, setting a high benchmark for competitors as 2026 begins.
