Jio strengthens 5G fixed wireless market leadership in Odisha with over 86pc subscriber share: TRAI

Reliance Jio has further reinforced its leadership in the 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) market in Odisha, with its JioAirFiber service commanding over 86% market share, according to the latest data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

Riding on its expansive and robust True5G network across the state, JioAirFiber has emerged as the preferred choice for 5G FWA users in Odisha. As of February 28, 2025, Jio had over 1.42 lakh subscribers in this segment, far outpacing its nearest competitor, which recorded just around 22,000 subscribers. The total 5G FWA subscriber base in Odisha has now surpassed 1.65 lakh.

Reliance Jio also continues to be the most preferred digital service provider in the state, having added over 1.14 lakh new mobile subscribers in February 2025 alone. With this growth, Jio’s total mobile subscriber base in Odisha has crossed 1.58 crore, further solidifying its position as the leading digital service provider in the region.
