Mahanadi Mines & Minerals enhances vision for 300 Sundargarh villagers through eye care drive

Demonstrating its unwavering dedication to community welfare, Mahanadi Mines and Minerals has launched a transformative eye care initiative, positively impacting 300 villagers across four remote villages in Sundargarh district. This meaningful outreach reinforces the company’s commitment to sustainable and inclusive development with a sharp focus on rural health.

The latest leg of the distribution drive reached Bijahan and Bhograkachhar villages, building on earlier efforts in Girisima and Jharpalam. Of the total beneficiaries, 126 villagers were provided with prescription spectacles to address vision impairments, significantly enhancing their quality of life and everyday functionality. Additionally, 174 villagers received zero-power protective glasses designed to shield eyes from dust and reduce strain from prolonged exposure to digital screens.
