NALCO celebrates 79th Independence Day with patriotic fervour

Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) on Friday celebrated the 79th Independence Day with grandeur and heartfelt patriotic zeal at its Corporate Office in Bhubaneswar and across all its units and offices nationwide.

At the Corporate Office, Chairman and Managing Director Brijendra Pratap Singh unfurled the Tricolour, followed by the NALCO family joining in a spirited rendition of the National Anthem. In his address, Singh urged every “Nalconian” to renew their commitment to the nation by striving for excellence and embracing the role of champions of change in their respective fields.

Adding a vibrant cultural dimension to the celebrations, students from the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), Bhubaneswar — beneficiaries of NALCO’s flagship CSR programme Project Indradhanush — delivered a captivating performance blending patriotic themes with traditional tribal dance.
