O.P. Jindal School students shine bright at Kala Utsav-2025, bring home prestigious state-level awards

O.P. Jindal School, Angul, has once again made its mark on the state-level arts scene, with its talented students bringing home multiple awards from the prestigious Kala Utsav-2025 Arts Festival. Held recently at the Government Girls’ High School in Bhubaneswar, the event was organized by the Union Education Ministry, to celebrate the creative potential of young minds across the state.

Soham Sarang Mendalkar, a standout performer from the school, clinched the second position in the solo instrumental music competition at the state level. Soham had previously topped the district and zonal competitions, further solidifying his reputation as an exceptional musical talent. His dedication and skill were truly on display as he captivated the judges with his performance.

In addition to Soham’s success, the school’s group instrumental music team comprising Sanket Mishra, Shreyas Mishra, Sarthak Dohare, and Shubham Das also impressed the audience with their synchronized and skillful performance, adding another feather to the school’s cap.
