Paradip Port Authority concluded its Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 with a strong message on integrity, accountability, and transparent governance. The week-long observance, held under the guidance of Capt. A.C. Sahoo (DC & Dy. Chairman, I/C), culminated in an inspiring closing ceremony graced by Chief Guest Devidatta Satapathy, CVO.
Welcoming the gathering, Smruti Ranjan Beura, Dy. CVO, stressed the need for collective awareness and the shared responsibility of maintaining ethical standards across the organisation.
In his address, Chief Guest Satapathy underscored the indispensable role of ethical conduct in everyday life, urging all stakeholders to refuse any form of corruption or misconduct. He emphasised that sustained vigilance and transparency are crucial to strengthening public trust and institutional credibility.
Heads of Departments present on the dais echoed these sentiments, reaffirming their commitment to building a corruption-free work environment through honesty, accountability, and good governance.
As part of the observance, prizes were awarded to school students who excelled in various competitions organised during the week. Their creativity and understanding of ethical values reflected the core message of nurturing a responsible and value-driven younger generation.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Nihar Ranjan Ojha, AEE (El.), who expressed gratitude to dignitaries, participants, employees, and all stakeholders for their support in upholding the ideals of ethical governance.
Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 stood as a timely reminder that integrity and vigilance are not mere formalities, but the foundation of excellence—both in professional spaces and in life.
