Punjab National Bank becomes first public sector bank to migrate corporate website to secure ‘.bank.in’ domain

Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of India’s leading public sector banks, has successfully migrated its corporate website to the secure ‘.bank.in’ domain (https://pnb.bank.in).

The initiative is in line with the Reserve Bank of India’s circular on “Migration to ‘.bank.in’ Domain” dated April 22, 2025, and carried out under the guidance of the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), the exclusive registrar for the domain.

With this migration, PNB has become the first public sector bank in the country to adopt the ‘.bank.in’ domain, reaffirming its commitment to providing customers with safe and secure digital banking services.

The ‘.bank.in’ domain is reserved exclusively for regulated banks in India, offering stronger safeguards against cyber frauds, bolstering the overall cybersecurity framework, and enhancing public trust in digital banking platforms.

PNB customers can now securely access the bank’s corporate website at: https://pnb.bank.in.
