Forecasts indicate that by 2075, the nation is set to become the world’s second-largest economy, boasting a purchasing power 30% higher than that of the United States. Against this backdrop of economic expansion, SGL’s foray into India comes at a crucial juncture, as the country strengthens its position in global trade with surging foreign investments and rising demand for dependable, efficient logistics solutions.

By establishing operations in India, SGL is uniquely positioned to cater to both multinational corporations operating within the country and Indian enterprises seeking to expand their footprint internationally. The company is launching its India operations with a robust foundation, opening three offices across Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai—where the latter will serve as its national head office. The local leadership team comprises seasoned industry professionals who bring decades of expertise from reputed organizations such as Maersk, CEVA Logistics, and Rhenus Logistics.
