Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL), one of India’s leading renewable EPC companies, has announced a major stride in its growth journey with marquee orders worth approximately ₹1,381 crore from Adani Green Energy Limited. The announcement comes alongside the signing of a landmark 5-year Strategic Partnership Framework Agreement, reinforcing a long-term collaboration between India’s largest renewable energy developer and one of the country’s most prominent solar EPC players.

The new order, issued as the first purchase order under the partnership, pertains to a Balance of System (BOS) package for three large solar power projects at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat — among the world’s largest renewable energy development zones. The scope includes supply of goods and extensive onsite services, underscoring SWREL’s engineering and execution expertise.

SWREL is already executing close to 6 GW of solar projects in the Khavda region, with nearly 5 GW set for completion within the current fiscal year. The fresh 1 GW order further solidifies the company’s leadership and dominant presence in Gujarat’s rapidly expanding renewable energy landscape.

Commenting on the milestone, Chandra Kishore Thakur, Global CEO of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, said, “We are delighted to announce a strategic 5-year partnership framework agreement with Adani Green, and also our largest domestic EPC order this fiscal. This partnership between India’s largest RE developer, and one of India’s biggest solar EPC players further strengthens our EPC leadership in the fast growing Indian Solar market. This order is a testament to the trust our clients place in our engineering excellence, execution capabilities, and ability to deliver large GW projects with a fast turnaround. With this order win, SWREL has now achieved more than ₹6,450 crore of order inflows this fiscal, and our pipeline continues to remain robust.”
