Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE), one of the world’s largest tractor manufacturers, made a strong global impression at Agritechnica 2025 in Germany, unveiling its next-generation hybrid electric tractor — the TAFE EVX75 — and celebrating the recognition of its TAFE EV28 electric tractor as one of the Top 5 finalists in the “Tractor of the Year (TOTY) 2026 Sustainable Tractor Category*.
Showcasing its cutting-edge innovation, TAFE introduced three new product ranges up to 100 HP across utility, compact, and speciality tractor segments. These included the TAFE 1015, a 103 HP heavy-duty tractor with a new cab; the TAFE 7515 GE, a 74 HP fruit and orchard model designed for vineyards and hilly terrains; and the **TAFE 6065 Compact Utility Series**, a 65 HP lightweight tractor ideal for precision and municipal operations.
The spotlight of the showcase, the TAFE EVX75 hybrid tractor, combines a 75 HP hybrid powertrain with an EU Stage V diesel engine and a 400 V electric battery system, allowing seamless transition between zero-emission electric mode and hybrid mode for demanding fieldwork. Delivering superior fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and high performance, the EVX75 sets a new standard in sustainable mechanization. Its liquid-cooled high-voltage system, 3-speed transmission reaching 40 km/h, and automation-ready design underline TAFE’s commitment to technological excellence.
TAFE also unveiled Terra 2.0, an integrated digital platform featuring the company’s proprietary vision-based guidance system Terra Vista, aimed at making precision AgTech solutions affordable and scalable for farmers worldwide.
