Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest producer of aluminium, has rolled out a distinctive safety initiative at its Jharsuguda operations with the launch of ‘Safety on Wheels – Suraksha Safar’, reinforcing its safety-first culture by integrating awareness into employees’ daily commute. The programme introduces an onboard display system in business partner transport buses, continuously screening work-area-specific safety videos to keep safety messages alive beyond the shop floor.
By embedding safety communication into routine travel, the initiative aims to make safety awareness a seamless part of everyday experience, encouraging consistent safe behaviour at work and beyond. The curated videos displayed during commutes are designed to be relevant and practical, ensuring sustained engagement while reinforcing the importance of vigilance and responsibility in every role.
