KIIT bags FICCI Higher Education Excellence Award 2025 for financial sustainability and student support

KIIT Deemed to be University has been conferred with the prestigious FICCI Higher Education Excellence Award 2025 in the category of ‘Excellence in Financial Sustainability & Student Access (Private)’. The award was presented by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, at a grand ceremony held in New Delhi.

This national recognition underscores KIIT’s strong commitment to student welfare and its robust, self-sustaining financial model that enables equitable access to quality education. The jury lauded the university’s exemplary initiatives in offering comprehensive scholarships and financial aid to students from varied socio-economic backgrounds, thereby advancing the cause of inclusivity and affordability in higher education.

A high-level delegation from KIIT, comprising Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Vikash Sabat, Deputy Director of International Relations, and Dr. Siddharth S. Rautray, Dean, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), received the award on behalf of the institution.
