When the world is celebrating Valentine’s Day today, Dalmia Vidya Mandir (DVM), Rajgangpur, resonated with a different kind of love and gratitude as it celebrated Parents’ Worship Day (Matru Pitru Pujan Divas) with fervour and devotion. Students at DVM expressed their deep respect and appreciation for their parents through a series of heartfelt programs. An integral part of the celebration was the traditional act of bowing and touching their parents’ feet in a gesture of deep respect.

Principal Jaydeb Kar eloquently illuminated the profound contributions and selfless sacrifices made by parents, essential in shaping a radiant future for their offspring. He underscored the essence of Indian culture, which places parents on a pedestal higher than even divine figures.

Lauding the students for their creative endeavours, Dalmia Vidya Mandir Schools CEO Dr. Rosetta Williams emphasized the monumental significance of parental roles.

Parents, in large numbers, actively participated in the event, amplifying its importance through melodious songs, poignant poetry, and engaging activities.

The culmination of the event was marked by a sincere vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective effort and spirit of reverence.

Notably, Dalmia Vidya Mandir in Rajgangpur stands as one of six distinguished schools under the banner of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited, with its headquarters in New Delhi.
