The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) has launched a one-of-a-kind eMasters degree in ‘Business Leadership in the Digital Age’ to assist businesses in thriving in the digital era and to equip professionals with niche leadership skills.
This program aims to empower aspiring professionals with a comprehensive understanding of modern business dynamics, tailored to provide individuals with the skills and insights necessary to navigate the complexities of the corporate landscape.
Designed by the Department of Economic Sciences, it offers a comprehensive understanding of modern business dynamics and is an executive-friendly program that doesn’t require a GATE score for application.
The program is taught by IITK faculty, combining industry expertise with academic excellence. It offers flexibility, allowing completion in 1-3 years, with weekend-only live interactive classes and self-paced learning.
The curriculum comprises a 60-credit structure consisting of 3 Core modules, 10 technology-oriented modules, and a Capstone Project.
Participants gain access to IIT Kanpur’s placement cell, incubation cell, and alumni network, enhancing career prospects and networking opportunities.
The program accounts for the new dimensions that have entered today’s business landscape and enables the development of effective business leadership in the digital age. It equips modern leaders to navigate rapid technological advancements, shifting consumer behaviours, and the digital transformation of industries by providing them with an understanding of digital strategies, data-driven insights, and agile decision-making. It equips business leaders in the digital age to leverage technology for competitive advantage, innovation, adaptability, and adopting a customer-centric approach.
Studies have shown that 52 per cent of companies reported an increase in worker productivity, and 49 per cent registered better performance after conducting a digital transformation of their businesses. It has been found that leaders who can harness technology in a digitally disrupted and constantly evolving global business landscape are the ones who will thrive in this ever-changing business ecosystem.
The program adopts an immersive learning format to incorporate the requirements of a dynamic digital landscape, including visits to the IIT Kanpur campus, fostering connections with eminent faculty and experienced professionals.
The e-Masters in Business Leadership in the Digital Age helps professionals elevate their careers through strategic thinking and embracing transformative leadership.
