In a strategic move to reinforce its organizational structure, the Board of Directors of Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) has officially appointed Tarun Khulbe as the Chief Executive Officer & Whole Time Director. The decision, made during a meeting last week, acknowledges Mr. Khulbe’s outstanding leadership skills, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to core values.
As JSL gears up for the next phase of growth and expansion, Managing Director Abhyuday Jindal will enhance his focus on the strategic vision of the company. Holding the position of Whole Time Director since May 2018, Jindal will continue in this role alongside his responsibilities as CEO, overseeing corporate affairs, sales and marketing, strategic initiatives, and subsidiaries.
With an extensive industry experience spanning 35 years, Khulbe has been a key figure in the profitable growth and expansion of JSL. During his nearly two decades with the company, he gained comprehensive exposure across all operational aspects, business development, supply chain management, people practices, and IT enablement. Khulbe played a pivotal role in the successful operational turnaround of JSL’s Jajpur facility, contributing significantly to the company’s financial recovery.

Khulbe joined JSL in October 2004 as a General Manager for the Cold Rolling Mills at Hisar, Haryana. His comprehensive exposure and leadership skills led to his subsequent appointments as head of stainless steel operations and later as Director and Chief Operating Officer for JSL. His career commenced with Raymond Steel, later merging into ThyssenKrupp, and includes rich industrial experience in India and Germany.
Khulbe is an engineering graduate from MITS, Gwalior, and holds an MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
