State-owned power giant NTPC Ltd. announced on Sunday that it has achieved a record-breaking annual electricity generation of 422 billion units in the fiscal year 2023-24. Notably, NTPC coal stations attained a plant load factor (PLF), or capacity utilization, of 77 percent during this period, as per the statement released by NTPC.
India’s largest power generating company, NTPC Ltd, has achieved its highest-ever yearly generation of 422 billion units in the fiscal year 2023-24, reflecting a substantial growth of nearly 6 percent compared to the previous fiscal year.
Furthermore, NTPC set another milestone on September 1, 2023, by recording its highest-ever single-day generation of 1,428 million units.
