NTPC Swayamsiddha Ladies Club supports underprivileged children in education

RANCHI, FEB 20, 2023

Members of Swayamsiddha Ladies Club (SLC) of NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters, Ranchi under the leadership of its President Mahua Mazumder, visited Robinhood Army’s cluster, an organisation catering support for education of the underprivileged children in Amravati area in  Ranchi.

Education for underprivileged children lacks basic resources such as textbooks and school supplies. This makes it difficult for children to learn effectively. Keeping in view of this, SLC evinced keen interest in bridging the gap between underprivileged children and education by distributing stationery items, textbooks to 100 such children who are eager to learn.

Senior Members and office-bearers of the Swayamsiddha Ladies Club also volunteered for spending some time by interacting and teaching the kids.

On the occasion, SLC Vice Presidents Sanchita Konar and Adilakshmi; Committee Members Snigdharanee Majhi, Ramya, Mansa Verma, Reshma Behera and Apoorva Dwivedi; and Club members: Sapana Pareek and Sugandh were also present.

The noble initiative concluded with appreciation by the beneficiaries. SLC has been actively involved in reaching out to the underprivileged people by carrying out various CSR initiatives for the benefit of the needy and underprivileged.
