NTPC Swayamsiddha Ladies Club marks Annual Day celebration with splendor

Ranchi, April 29, 2024 (TBB Bureau): In a dazzling display of camaraderie and celebration, NTPC Mining Limited’s Women’s Welfare Wing hosted its Annual Day Celebration with magnificence. Chief Guest Animesh Jain, Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining) & CEO (NML), along with Rekha Jain, President of the Swayamsiddha Ladies Club, inaugurated the festivities by illuminating lamps in the esteemed presence of distinguished dignitaries.

Themed “Utsav – The Joy of Self Discovery,” the annual day celebration encapsulated the spirit of empowerment and enlightenment.

Addressing the gathering, Rekha Jain underscored the significant contributions of the Swayamsiddha Ladies Club to society, emphasizing its welfare and CSR initiatives, including skill development training for the underprivileged and provisions of essential food items to the less fortunate. She lauded the combined efforts of the club’s members and expressed gratitude for their dedication in organizing various activities throughout the year, including workshops for skill enhancement. Jain urged members to stand united as a family and strive to create a positive impact on the surrounding society, concluding with a powerful message: “Let us be the change we want to see in the society.”

The evening witnessed captivating in-house cultural performances, featuring enthusiastic participation from members of the Ladies’ Club, children, and employees, adding a special charm to the occasion. Engaging quiz sessions and interactive games were organized, with deserving winners being felicitated for their achievements.

Among the esteemed attendees were Rajnish Rastogi, CGM (HR), AP Shrivastava, GM (Infra), D Shrikhande, GM (TS), S Pandey, GM (C&M), as well as Swayamsiddha Ladies ClubSwayamsiddha Ladies Club Vice Presidents, Shikha Rastogi and Purnima Shrikhande, General Secretary Mansa Verma, Joint Secretary Deepa Kumari, Treasurer Snigdha Rani Manjhi and Cultural Secretary T Parameswari.
