DHAMRA, AUG 30, 2023
Adani Foundation, the CSR arm of Adani Group of Companies, celebrated Raksha Bandhan among the students of its 46 Utthan Centres running in 46 government schools of 3 clusters – Dosinga, Paiksahi, and Karanjmal covering 6 gram panchayats in the proximity of Dhamra Port Company Limited.
The students celebrated the auspicious day by showcasing their creativity and commitment to environmental responsibility by crafting eco-friendly Rakhis using materials such as paper and sticks.
Project Utthan run by Adani Foundation in these 46 schools, focuses on strengthening the foundational literacy and numeracy of over 3000 primary students. This endeavour not only strengthens the academic pursuits of the students but also fosters comprehensive growth through extracurricular activities and empowering the parents’ involvement in their child’s education and striving to establish a continuum relationship among the teachers, parents and students for an all-round development of every child in the region.
The students’ innovation in creating Rakhis from eco-friendly paper and craft materials underscores the value of environmentally conscious practices and stands as a drive for making our plant green.
Adani Foundation’s continuous efforts in empowering learning, coupled with initiatives like the Raksha Bandhan celebration, fortify the belief that education extends beyond textbooks. It shapes character, instils values, and prepares the children to become responsible and successful citizens of India.
