A diabetes diagnostic counselling center was inaugurated by Ypsomed India Pvt. Ltd Country Manager Sanjay Rajpal at the Community Diagnostic here on Sunday.
The center was launched by Centurion University’s School of Paramedics and Allied Health Sciences in the presence of CUTM Provost Dr. Radhakant Padhi, Vice Chancellor Dr. Supriya Patnaik, SoPAHS Dean Prof. Sunil Kumar Jha and others.
An eye checkup and health camp was also organised at the Centurion University campus on the occasion. Around 100 people from Kusumati Gram Panchayat attended the camp and were offered free treatment and eye glasses.
Rajpal highlighted on diabetes diagnostic counseling. Prof. Jha informed that similar programs would be organized in nearby panchayats with the help of Yepsomed in the near future.
Book titled “The Adventures of Captain Glucose: A Graphic Novel on Type-1 Diabetes”, written by Prisha Singh, was distributed among students as part of learning and training on diabetes.
