East Coast Railway delegation visits JSP’s Angul Steel Plant

ANGUL, DEC 23, 2022

A delegation of East Coast Railway (ECoR) led by General Manager RN Sunkar visited Jindal Steel and Power (JSP)’s mega steel unit at Angul on Thursday. They took stock of the various facilities of the steel plant, including loading and unloading bays, internal railway tracks, dumping sites, expansion plan for the upcoming tracks, etc. and also met JSP Managing Director Bimlendra Jha.      

JSP Chief Executive Officer Mr. Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, Executive Director –  Logistic Ghanshyam Singh, Chief Logistic Officer Animesh Gupta and other officials of the Company accompanied the delegation and apprised them about the facilities.

On this occasion, Dinesh Kumar Saraogi said, “We are very much thankful to the Indian Railway for providing all the required support at the time of need. As a Platinum customer of the Indian Railway, we hope their support will be always there for us to accelerate the nation’s economy by enhancing our production capacity.” 

Secretary to ECoR GM Biswajit Bhoi, DRM Khurda Rinkesh Roy, PCOM YN Babu, PCE NS Uikey, PCCM B Nagya, Deputy CE Parida, Senior DOM Khurda K Saandeep, Senior DCM Amitesh Anand, Senior DEN Coordination Vijay Yadav  and Senior DEN Central P Nagwani were also part of the delegation.
