The Dare Devils team beat Jindal Mahila Samiti team by nine wickets in the final to win the championship trophy in the inter-departmental ladies cricket tournament Jindal Panther Cup-2022, played here under floodlights on Sunday.
Put in to bat first, Team Jindal Mahila Samiti could manage to score a paltry 38 runs in the stipulated 10 overs losing 4 wickets.
Chasing 39 for victory, Team Dare Devils comprising players from the Security department, reached the target in just 6.3 overs losing only one wicket.
Haripriya Nayak was adjudged Player of the Match for her brilliant bowling performance. She claimed 3 wickets in 3 overs conceding only 7 runs.
Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, Chief Executive Officer of JSP’s Steel Business, graced the final match of the tournament as the Chief Guest and presented trophies to the winning and runners-up teams in the presence of Hridayeshwar Jha, Executive Director In-Charge; Sujata Saraogi, Anita Mittal and other dignitaries.
