MoPSW OSD Sudhansh Pant visits Paradip Port

Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW) OSD Sudhansh Pant arrived here on Thursday on his maiden visit to the Paradip Port as part of the routine review process. He was accorded a warm welcome by Paradip Port Authority (PPA) Chairman PL Haranadh, Deputy Chairman AK Bose and other senior officials of the PPA.

On his arrival at the Wet Basin of the Port today, Pant was accorded Guard of Honour by the CISF, PPA contingent. Then, he visited the Signal Station and inspected the Port infrastructure and modernization project at Paradip Port during the Harbour visit. Later, he visited Mahanadi confluence and IFFCO jetty and examined the prospects of the new Riverine Port. The OSD also inaugurated the new MCHP Control Room.

Pant also visited the MCHP Rail Receival Station, JSW Iron Ore Tippler facility, PEQCT coal unloading hopper and KICT Silo to get an idea about Port operations.

He also inaugurated the Mannad Manthan – the new Board Room of PPA; and interacted with senior officials regarding the prospective future mega Port.
