The Bhubaneswar Circle of the State Bank of India (SBI) and SBI Foundation today donated a Covid Testing Van and medical equipment including masks, hand gloves and sanitizers to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) for management of Covid-19 in the capital city.
SBI Bhubaneswar Circle Chief General manager Ruma Dey handed over the van and the medical equipment to BMC Deputy Commissioner (Covid) Suvendu Sahu and Zonal Deputy Commissioner Ansuman Rath in presence of senior officials of BMC and SBI.
Thanking SBI and SBI Foundation for their timely support, Deputy Commissioner Sahu said the ambulance would be useful for senior citizens of the BMC area in the capital cty. The sample for Covid test would be collected from the home of the senior citizens.
In another function, SBI Bhubaneswar Circle and SBI Ladies Club donated a School Van to Society for Children (SOCH). On behalf of SOCH, its Secretary Manoj Kumar Swain Secretary and Laxmi Singh received the van from SBI CGM Ruma Dey.
