Managing Director of SBI Foundation, Sanjay Prakash, ceremoniously inaugurated ‘SBI Sanjeevani,’ a mobile medical unit, in an event held here on Wednesday. This initiative is a vital component of the Foundation’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) endeavors, falling under the flagship program ‘Gram Seva,’ executed in collaboration with ‘Gram Vikas,’ a non-profit organization.

The ‘Sanjeevani’ initiative is designed to deliver primary healthcare services directly to the doorstep of rural communities residing in the Kalahandi District. Our ‘Gram Seva’ program is pivotal in this endeavor, aiming to foster holistic development in remote villages nationwide. Today, I am pleased to inaugurate the mobile medical unit, poised to address the primary healthcare needs of rural communities in the Kalahandi District.”

Liby Johnson, Executive Director of Gram Vikas, remarked, “This initiative will be of immense benefit to rural communities residing in the distant and secluded areas of the district, ensuring regular access to primary healthcare services.”
