The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of JEE Main January 2026 session, bringing academic pride to Odisha as ALLEN Career Institute’s Bhubaneswar student Bhavesh Patra secured a perfect 100 percentile and emerged as the state topper. Nationally, 12 candidates achieved the coveted 100 NTA score, with ALLEN students accounting for a significant share of the top performers.

Sharing the achievement, Allen Career Institute Bhubaneswar Centre Head Rajneesh Srivastava told media persons on Tuesday that Bhavesh, a long-term classroom student of the institute, has demonstrated exceptional academic consistency and conceptual clarity to reach this milestone. He added that more than 100 students from the Bhubaneswar centre are expected to score above the 99 percentile, while over 400 students are likely to cross the 90 percentile mark, reflecting the centre’s strong performance in the first major engineering entrance result of 2026.

At the national level, ALLEN Career Institute CEO Nitin Kukreja said that eight of the 12 perfect scorers are from ALLEN. Kota classroom student Kabir Chhillar secured a flawless 300 out of 300, while Arnav Gautam, Shubham Kumar, Bhavesh Patra, Anay Jain, Nimay Purohit and Chiranjeeb Kar from classroom programmes, along with Shreyas Mishra from the online test series, also achieved 100 percentile. The institute has produced 18 state toppers across the country, including Odisha, Rajasthan, Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Puducherry and several northeastern states. The results have been audited and validated by EY India to ensure transparency and authenticity.

Bhavesh Patra, son of Chartered Accountant Biswajit Patra and Jayashree Behera, attributed his success to sustained hard work, disciplined study habits and strong faculty guidance. A resident of Odisha and a classroom student at ALLEN for the past six years, he began his preparation early and focused on building conceptual clarity rather than rote learning. He scored 97.6 per cent in Class X and maintained a rigorous schedule of regular classes, in-depth study of assignments and consistent test practice.

He emphasised that periodic testing helped him identify weak areas and improve through targeted revision, while effective time management allowed him to balance self-study with classroom learning. Bhavesh is now preparing for JEE Advanced with the goal of securing admission to a premier IIT and pursuing a B.Tech degree.

The outstanding performance of ALLEN Bhubaneswar students in JEE Main 2026 underscores the growing academic ecosystem of the state and highlights the city’s emergence as a competitive hub for engineering entrance preparation.
