Guv appoints VCs for Utkal, Ravenshaw and Fakir Mohan Universities

Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati, in exercise of powers conferred under the Odisha Universities Act, 1989, has appointed new Vice Chancellors for three prominent state universities, marking an important step towards strengthening higher education in Odisha.

As per the official notification, Prof. Santosh Kumar Tripathy has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Fakir Mohan University, Prof. Arka Kumar Das Mohapatra will assume charge as the Vice Chancellor of Ravenshaw University, and Prof. Chandi Prasad Nanda has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Utkal University. These eminent academicians bring with them rich experience, scholarly distinction, and administrative expertise, positioning the universities for a dynamic phase of growth and transformation.

Extending his best wishes, the Chancellor expressed confidence that the newly appointed Vice Chancellors will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of higher education in Odisha by promoting quality teaching, pioneering research, and academic collaborations aligned with national and global standards.
