Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), a renowned two-wheeler manufacturer, proudly announced a significant achievement today, crossing the remarkable milestone of 6 crore domestic sales in India. This historic feat underscores HMSI’s enduring presence and unwavering commitment to the Indian market.

Since its inception in 2001 with the introduction of the Activa, Honda has consistently been a favorite among Indian consumers. Over the years, HMSI has celebrated numerous milestones, cementing its position as one of India’s most beloved two-wheeler brands. The journey to 6 crore domestic sales showcases Honda’s exceptional growth trajectory in India. While it took eleven years to reach the first 1 crore customers, the pace tripled, achieving the 2 crore mark in the subsequent three years. Notably, the journey to the 6 crore milestone accelerated, with the last 3 crore customers joining the Honda family in under seven years, culminating in March 2024.

Central to this achievement are Honda’s iconic offerings, the Activa – India’s favorite family scooter, and the Shine motorcycle. Renowned for their reliability, performance, and advanced features, both models have set new benchmarks in their segments, contributing significantly to HMSI’s success story.
