Bajaj Auto has launched its newest two-wheeler offering in Odisha, the Pulsar N150, on Tuesday at a price tag of Rs 1,18,701 (ex-showroom, Odisha).

The Pulsar N150 borrows its design elements from the larger Pulsar N160. It features a futuristic-looking headlight that comprises an LED projector at the centre and two LED DRLs on each side.

Along with an LED headlight setup, the N150 gets a semi-digital instrument console with an LCD setup. It houses an analogue tachometer and a digital inset for the speedometer, tripmeter and odometer. The Pulsar N150’s safety net comprises single-channel ABS and a side-stand cut-off sensor.

The new Pulsar is propelled by a 149.6cc single-cylinder motor that makes 14.5bhp at 8,500rpm and 13.5Nm at 6,000rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.

The N150 rides on 31mm front telescopic forks and twin rear shocks, while its braking hardware comprises a 260mm front disc and a 130mm rear drum unit. These are mounted on 17-inch alloys wrapped in 90/90 front and 120/70 rear tyres from MRF.

Bajaj Pulsar N150 is offered in three colour options: Racing Red, Ebony Black and Metallic Pearl White.

It offers a similar fuel efficiency of around 45-50 kmpl, just like the earlier Pulsar 150, claims the Bajaj Auto.

Commenting on the launch of Pulsar N150, Bajaj Auto President (Motorcycles) Sarang Kanade said, “Twenty years ago, we launched the first Pulsar 150 cc motorcycle that shook up the entry-level sport biking segment and has been India’s largest selling 150cc since then. With the N150, Pulsar is back to rule the road in its biggest and boldest avatar. Its aggressive styling, segment-leading features, stellar on-road performance and an incredibly attractive price point make it a splendid value addition to the Pulsar family. Our goal is to make the joy of riding accessible to everyone, and this new bike is a testimony to that mission.”
